Same as Rate Singature or Rate Avatar, but this time, someone posts a picture of a ship, and the person after them rates it! Then, they post a picture of a ship, and so on!
It can be any ship at all. Scale of 1 to 10, (1 being the lowest)
I'll start.

watt about ss Norway then
(http://i36.tinypic.com/28a6drl.jpg)
-
Sorry Cpt.Bluebeard, but that picture is of the Norway after her two extra decks were added, I think it totally ruined the ship. When she was the france and norway before this then she was great, so for that reason ill still give it 7/10. What about this, the rms majestic of 1922:
-
9/10 A grand ship from the good old days.
How about this one, the replica of the Swedish eastindiaman Götheborg wich I had the honour to sail with a coupple of years ago.

-
I certainly do...The masterpeice that is the QE2, 9/10, Superb, especially with th SoL in the foreground. Im sure youll recognise this, her rival:
-
SS France is a rival of QM, not QE2.
I hate the QM. I do not understand, that Cunard named that ship after a ruthless english monarch who likes burning protestants to steak, earning the nickname blo*dy along the way?
I rate SS France, 9/10
How about this?
(http://gcaptain.com/maritime/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/07/container-ship-heavy-weather.GIF) ;D
-
Hmmm...7/10. What About this, the worlds current largest cruise ship, freedom of the seas:

-
Hmm, not quite sure about that one, 6/10, What about this one, the RMS Aquitania:
-
SS France is a rival of QM, not QE2.
I think she was a rival of QE2. because she was built in the 60's.
Aquitania, 9/10, longest serving Cunarder except for QE2 I beleive :)

think that's just my scan of the pic ;) the photo shows her immaculate (for a 56 year old vessel at the time of the photo!) A lot of todays criuse ships will have been recycled a few times by that age I reckon.

Hey thats our Queen your talking about.
-
I've been English for a lot longer than you have! I am entitled to insult Lizzie when I feel the need.
The only reason she is Queen is that my ancestors were out of the country when hers took over. Otherwise I'd be Queen of England.

What about R/S Emmy Dyvi?
-
I've been English for a lot longer than you have! I am entitled to insult Lizzie when I feel the need.

Fair point, You have been in this world alot longer than me. So lets not get into a fight, i am just proud to be British so I think the best thing to do is to leave it there. You sure about you being Queen though? ;)
-
I think you misunderstand. I have been English a lot longer than you have.
I'm not fighting, just teasing. "Humour" is the expression. Yes, I would be Queen. Which would surprise the kids no end.
-

And the Aquitania is my favorite near Michigan vessel, or was that the Aquamarine? oh well, I hope noone posted this pic yet, "THE KING OF THE SEAS" TITANIC II! From (VTC=Virtual Transportation Company) WHITE STAR LINES. HE is leaving the place where HE was built, and going to port to be christened in this pic.
-
Actually it's in my language most of vehicles are he, incl. ships. But in English ships are she. ;)
-
Oh, well I didn't know that, :P you learn somthing new every day don't you? I live in the USA, but for me, some ships are "he" and some ships are "she", cause boats can't be only boys, or only girls, It's not right, for example, Birttanic is a girl ship, Olimpic is is a boy ship, Titanic is a boy ship, and North Channel (ferry to Harson's Island) is, well, noone's sure on that one yet. :-\ Oh well. I'll figure out some time. Also, my Lazer (Brittish racing green, #575) I named Tugboat, and it's a boy (sailboat).
-
Well, then I don't have anything to say against that as I'm not English anyway.
-
Also, I forgot a ship in my last post, sorry, Exapmle: Edmund Fitzgerald (sank due to rouge wave, open haches, unballenced load, etc. and my favorite Great Lakes ship. :'( ) Anyways, the Edmund Fitzgerald is also a BOY ship. 8) Current score, Boys 199/ Girls 120, Sorry girls, there are less girl ships by my current count. :'( <-- Probably what a gitty school girl is doing due to the score right now, (THIS IS NOT MEANT TO OFFEND ANYONE IT IS JUST A ROUGH COUNT).
-
Ships are not considered a HE, they all considered a SHE.
-
There are no "he ships" all vessels are "her's"...
-
Maybe in America, a country who wants to do things always different and thinks they are the great, there are boy ships :S, never heard of it.
A ship is always a She.
back on topic
What about this one.
Old seagoing tug from Terschelling.
