... Anyone willing to actually help a fellow player out?

DxDiag is attached.

Let me put it this way: if I can't get Ship Simulator 2008 v1.4.2 working, that means that the "You can play Ship Simulator 2008 to pilot Titanic" excuse no longer holds water (so to speak)....

she will fly the UK flag untill she's picked up by the delivery company who will probably let her fly a cheap 'mickey mouse' flag!

The UK flag is already a cheap 'mickey mouse' flag :(

Hey Clanky

ok thanks, you?

I'm fantastic thanks, was kayaking this morning and someone spotted a dolphin fin, it was only when I pointed out that dolphins don't have fins that we realised there were loads of sharks around, it was incredible, there must have been about 15 of them, I am pretty sure they were black-winged hammerheads, a little over 1.2 m from dorsal fin to tail fin, absolutely incredible, couldn't get closer than about 2m, but that was close enough to get a good look.

Not to sound cliched, but what a long, strange, trip it's been.

One tip, if you see one of these:

Use the Beer and Whiskey bottles for a "Message in a bottle", and dont drink and kayaking.  ;)
