Yup, though it wasn't the first time it came up.

This time though, it seemed it could be beneficial, given the messy nature of some forum parts.

Thanks again for a suggestion well made!

I wish i was... i'm on the Bastiaan Broere now. The Bastiaan was the first out of 4 of our 5000 dwt series, the Jacobus Broere was 2nd, the Dutch Mate was 3rd and the Dutch Navigator was the 4th and last one. The Mate and Navigator have been lengthened in '98 to 118 metres and now have a deadweight of 6400 tonnes  :)

Bastiaan and Jacobus Broere were the founders of our company  :)

Ooh You have changed vessels then

How does the lengthening affect the ship? Any differences? (though if you weren't on her before, you may not know though... )

---

So do these sub forums still count towards posts? I haven't seen my post count depreciate dramatically...?

I served a 2 months contract on the Jacobus in early 2008, but beside the traveling time to get on the forecastle there isn't much difference  :P. The service speed is still the same and they are still as manoevrable as be before.

Why is it when ever I email VSTEP.
A reply always arrives either three weeks later or never at all?
I can't help but feel that they just 'ditch' emails they don't like.
Even though they say that they get back to everyone
Not very good at all.

Might also depend on the subject. I can imagine customer support for people with serious problems with the game get priority over non pressing matters.

But if you even need a quicker solution and you have an important question, feel free to pm me, and I'll try to get an answer for you.

Thanks for the offer Fred

And, I'm definately glad this doesn't happen on SSE :D
This was one of my biggest money making ferries and it just vanished!
Luckily I sent it from Dublin to New York with out anybody onboard just crew.
But I was going to send it back with 500 people!
Oh well! I still have its sister ship :)

Just to get this strait, the two sub forums in small talk are NOT counted in post count. But regular Small Talk used for maritime tops does, correct? I relly like the organization now, but it will take a little time to get used to

Me neither. They are pretty useless anyway  ;D I'm just wondering. So the WHOLE Small Talk forum will not count, correct?

evening Jack, hows you? havn't seen you around here alot recently

I know!! I was slightly ashamed of myself for not being around  I'm grand thanks mate, and yourself?

I've been revising a lot for my maths exam this coming month. It's a linear paper, so if I don't get my C then I have to wait until next year to re-take it, and I don't fancy doing that!! It's really worn me out to be honest  But the way i'm looking at it is that if I do it now, that's my ticket into the Merchant, and I can focus on my other subjects.

On top of that i've had a lot of coursework with it being my last year, so very little time to myself nowerdays :sleepy:

Jack.
p.s. Still as grand as I was when I said it above TFM  And yourself?
p.s.s.s.s.!!! Evening Chris!
