She is white because she was sub-chartered from Balearia to T-Link and they obviously didn't want a ship on their service with Balearia painted down the side, I would expect that now she is back on charter to Balearia they will look at having her re-painted again soon.
Bare boat is a slightly different term Nathan, although it is indeed connected with chartering:
A bare boat charter is when you pay a fixed rate for a ship and you then have to crew the ship, and pay all the running costs yourself, the other common type of charter is a managed or time charter where you charter a ship from a company who do all the crewing and technical management for you and you then only have to arrange cargo (and for passenger ships normally supply the catering / hotel staff)
