That is the strategy: rushing people to buy the product NOW. They don't want you to think about if you can afford it, they want you to buy it now or it will be too late and the sale will be over...  :-\

Which vulcano was that?

Montaña Corona here in Lanzarote, it is what we call a Caldera rather than an actual volcano, because the wind here can be quite strong, when the volcanos erupted all of the material was pushed to one side and even when the lava had solidified the wind and the little bit of rain that we get continued to erode the low side, so most of the craters here are almost half moon shaped.

There are around 100 volcanoes and 300 craters on the island, I have climbed around 50 of them so far.

Hi Dexter, no not that one, for some ridiculous reason we have 2 Montañas Coronas on the Island, that one is a bit further North than the one i climbed yesterday, although I have also been up the one you have posted as well, I will try to find a picture of the one I did yesterday.

We walked up the left hand side and then along the rim and back down the right hand side, hopefully you can see what I mean about it being a Caldera from the photo.

Stunning, it's only 232m high, which isn't huge by Lanzarote standards, but it stands on its own on a mostly flat plain so the views are incredible.

The Island of Lanzarote is one of the most unique landscapes in the world with Volcanic activity as recently as 250 years ago there are almost virgin lava flows as well as everything in between, we have volcanoes which are millions of years old where erosion and the action of lichens and smaller plants have broken down the rock to form soil, you can walk for 20km and pass over ground which is 250 years, 350 years old, thousands of years old, hundreds of thousands of years old and millions of years old.

The whole Island is a UNESCO biosphere reserve.

The fact of the matter is the climate is on its "time of the month", so quite litteraly ANYTHING can happen. we've had all 4 major weather types in a day. rain, sun, snow, electrical storm... the later is very odd, as its december, and those arn't suppost to happen in december...

I could get banned from the SS forum with 3 words, so getting banned from the VS one shouldn't be difficult
