I bought Ship Sim 2008 but when I opened it there was no manual but just a sticker with a 24-digit Licence Key?

Bought from: Game (internet)
Contains: Disk

What is the problem...?

Oh... I see...
Hmm... You should PM MadFred

When I got the game all that was in the case was the disk and a little sticker with the Licence Key on it but it was only 24 digits long instead of 25 digits and when I tried it, it didn't work?
Edit: Ok, thanks.

Hi Titanic Sean,
Good to hear! I'll disregard your pm then.
No need to apologise though, easy mistake to make. ;D
Kind Regards,
Fred
P.S. Matthew, tampering with a key by trying random numbers is not allowed. Suppose you register a key that way, and you 'got lucky' and found one of someone else, who hasn't registered it yet.
Then that key would be unusable to the rightful owner. So please never advise anything like that. :-\

Yeah I never thought about it that way :-\ But when companies generate codes they normally generate them completely random and different than any other key?
So it's always completely different, I'm not sure anyway!
Kind Regards

Keys for a production run to be stamped from a particular master are not random; they must all produce a certain checksum.
