Ahoy Sailors and would-be sailors and armchair sailors.
How come that most of the reactions WITH a picture are from those Youngsters?
Not so much from the 'older guard' and none from the so called weak sexe.
I can't imgine that on this Forum in general and this topic in special only youngsters are participating.
So, I call out for the older generation and the female part of the forum users:

Here is a recent one of my wife & I, mere youngsters at 76, on the promenade beside the river Mersey at New Brighton. Note the sign, there really is a pub called the Pilot Boat.
