Wrong, it's a cat.  Can't you see that?

"A catamaran (from Tamil kattumaram[1]) is a type of multihulled boat or ship" (wikipedia)

An American flag, Canadian Flag and what appears to resemble part of a Union flag....

No, it's a sidewall hovercraft!

Quote
A Surface Effect Ship (SES) or Sidewall Hovercraft, is a watercraft or vessel that has both an air cushion, like a hovercraft, and twin hulls, like a catamaran. When the air cushion is in use, a small portion of the twin hulls remain in the water. When the air cushion is turned off ("off-cushion" or "hull borne"), the full weight of the vessel is supported by the buoyancy of the twin hulls.

The air cushion is made by air travelling between the two hulls, and being pressed downwards.

I'm sure we all know about this semi-hovercraft principle- but where is the evidence that this 'water borne vehicle' is a sw flymo?

EDIT: One thought, since these vessels are still primarily piercing/displacement hulls, should they still be classed as hovercraft? They don't hover like a proper hovermower does... It just reduces its depth a bit and therefore its drag

That's not a sidewall hovercraft!  Just a cat ferry, similar to Fastcat-Ryde, Red Jets & all those...

There is a lot of talk that when the charter runs out next year they won't renew it

It's been talked about since 1998!

Each year, somehow the loadings go UP despite competition from AT and BF... AT were a bunch of halfwits, but BF... a bit more competition.

Yet, PO have a more 'intense' timetable than BF... Also the PoBi is pretty famous yet the Pont Aven, for example, is known only by enthusiasts... People know what POB is, but ask the average person about BFPA and they'll say they don't know...
