We need a correct answer to the previous question first. When the owner of a website the link won't work and so historians looking here in 100 years time won't know what the answer was!!

TFM: I'm told there is a way to tell that tub apart from the PO Cherbourg (as was then)- they were suffered from ugly rebuild syndrome, so how did you tell it apart?

Ah. I saw a reference to blanking out the name, but I didn't think he actually left the name visible (looking on an old PC with poor graphics card you see...)

I know there is the 'I can tell the PO Dover and PO Calais apart by the bridge roof...But didn't know the Cherbourg and Hampshire difference. Ugly ships. Did you ever travel on them?

No. Only travelled from Portsmouth once, and that was on a minicruise to Bilbao, but that didn't go so good
