There are 2 ship companies that have the same name but for different sections of ships, one is ferries and the other is cruises. What is the company?
(Hint: one is in the Caribbean, and the other is in Europe.)

By the colors of the hull, it is a P&O ferry. I think it is either European Express or European Seaway.

Your right "Last Active:  May 19, 2009, 19:22:22"

Maybe it's his internet connection, or something like that?

European Express doesn't exist, and European Seaway is a lot different to the European Causeway which is in the picture....you were correct about the company, though.

The VISTAMAR was grounded enroute from Palma to Malaga, between Eivissa and Formentera in may 2003. She took on water and was maintained afloat with inflatable balloons.
Perhaps it's the accident you're reffering to.

Ok, what was the name of the passenger/cargo ship that actually did fight (and was sunk) against a battle cruiser during WWII? Additional question: what was the name of this battle cruiser?

Would that have been "Jervis Bay" sunk whilst defending a convoy from attack by "Admiral Scheer". ???

The expected answer to my quizz was the RAWALPINDI (a P&O liner in peace time) and the battle cruise was the SCHARNHORST.
However, your answer, JERVIS BAY and ADMIRAL SHEER, does perfectly fit my quizz too.

So congratulations Traddles!

Your go.

I thought of "Rawalpindi" but rejected that answer as she was fighting two ships, the "Scharnhorst" and the "Gneisnau" so I thought that would be the wrong answer. I apologise that right now I can not think of a question, sorry.
