No idea about that ship, Mike. Looks like a cruise ship or ferry from the former USSR...
Quaysider prefers his own question style - in the same way as I'm asking. ::)

Sorry - I thought this was a "Ship Quiz" - so therefore I post photos of ships. I try to make them unique, not a 'guess one out of several sisters' question.

The answer is the "Mariya Yermolova" - a Russian cruise ship that spent a few seasons in the early 80's sailing from Hull to the North Cape.

I think it looks like the USS Arizona, the WWII American ship that sank in Pearl Harbor and is memorialized.

Good to be back home, eh..?
As Mike thought it would be easy for Fred and me, I suppose it's an old Dutch navy vessel (Haven't found it yet.. ;)

City of Hamburg, built for transporting parts of the Airbus A380 (I think that is the plane, she is the big one anyway.)

Hint: the ship in question was not actually in the film, but she was the inspiration for the German gunboat Luisa..
To this day she performs a ferry service on Lake Tanganyika..
