Not sure if this has been mentioned before:

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but it looks to me like Ocean/Orient Star are based off of the Carnival/Costa Cruises Spirit class? :D I was looking at the Costa Atlanitca and thought "I recognise that ship!". Turns out there is quite a few of them!

I've noticed too, and I think it was confirmed by a moderator.

Not to sound cliched, but what a long, strange, trip it's been.

I know some VSTEP ships like ocean star were based around real ships but had differences to separate them from the real thing for legal reasons.
Just complete intrest is that the same class as the Costa Concordia?

not at all my friend....Costa Concordia class is far away from Costa Antlatica class. Just an opinion. I've never been to either of these ships, so I don't know if their interiors have a few similarities  :captain:

The Concordia's are identical to the Carnival Splendor (which is often reffered to being in a class of its own ) :) The Spirit class (like Ocean Star) are a class of there own.

Had a good day today. For my birthday (yesterday!) I got a proper inflatable Kayak (not a cheap one you can pick up for a fiver at market stalls). We took it to a local lake today, and I had a good run, it was really stable.   Hoping to take her (I'm treating it like a ship already ) on holiday next month, I have to A) try to get a way to fit it in the 20kg of luggage we have and B) try to work out how to store it in the ship cabin   its not small, even when deflated...

I guess were going to need a new collage bus

Basicly the boat bus was sweaped off of the road with the rocks which is meant to act as a storm defence yet its the second time its collapsed this year...

No, I live a little east from there but I was hoping to go to see it! I'm not 100% sure but we have 3 college busses - good one, the old coach and the rubbish one. That looks like the good one

I saw that earlier today and I was going  to share it when I was on my laptop (I spend most of my time on my iPad now). But one question I got! How do the split a ship? Surly you can't have people with a cutter as that will take for ever!

In the reactions below the video, someone who seems to have been involved in the production of the video, answered that the operation took just 2 months..

Don't know for sure salty, but that would seem reasonable as the block would have been pre-built.
