Hurray for MaasVlakte 2!

It's only not yet finished, although I heard yesterday on the news that it should be an active containerarea by the year 2014!  ;D

I heard they now only need to close that gap which is open to the sea and then make a gap to the rest of the container ports.

Why do they always compare areas to football pitches?

Maybe because football pitches are larger than stamps.. ;D
You also always hear references to Olympic swimming pools (water quantity), Boeing 747's (weight) or the Eiffel tower (height)..

I think its because people (atleast, most people) have seen a pool or football (that's soccer for you Americans) pitch in their lifetime.
