Nah, the department is split up into Engine room (1st engineer), Electrical (chief electrician), Hotel engineering department(hotel engineer), and AC (AC / reefer engineer), I also have a staff chief engineer who looks after all of that, I just deal with the politics! (and the opretty cargo with the fluttering eyelids and the declining necklines :D )

Have fun on the general cargo ship, would that be painted brown by any chance?

Reminds me of this story:transcript of a US naval ship with Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland in Oktober 1995. This radio conversation was released by the Chief of Naval Operations on 10-10-95.
