Having just spent 2 weeks on one of the damn things I would disagree.

Agreed! I don't like to sail with a cargo that moans and that has an opinion!

hah what ferry was it?

P&O's European Causeway, ship is alright, but the idea of going backwards and forwards between Larne and Cairnryan doesn't appeal to me for any more than 2 weeks.

i know!

It is one of the campaign missions where you have to break the speed record..
The total time alowed was 3000 seconds
And i finished just before that!

These ships are amazing oh and the white marlins controls are as easy as Redjet4's (they're the same)
So its very easy to sail
I like Albatross too, a very beautiful ship
Big apple is big and hard to controll so i have to kind of get used to the double sided ferries
Same with the rozenburg

St Pauli is cute and easy to sail with and i like sailing with it in Marseille

yes i have done allot of sailing today  ;D

Some pics coming up

30000s = 50 mins, seems acceptable

to put it into perspective - the record Cross Channel Crossing is Hovercraft in 22 minutes...

The usual SRN4 Crossing is 35 mins...

a SeaCats crossing time should be 50-55mins

It's absolutly not my favorite the Incat.. :-\
I don't know what it is. I'm not really a fan of that kinda ships. Maybe that's it

It's kinda pity for me that they release the Ferry pack in me exam week... So haven't sail so much today.
Futhermore I totally agree with you about the ships.
And don't forgot the rozenburg.  ;D

In ShipSim there is a difference in the SOG and the actual speed that the ship travels. On faster machines, the actual speed is higher, although the SOG is the same  :)

That's why some people have these redicilous time records with the SS08 missions  :)

Oh dear...

is there anyway to do it so realistic speeds/times are achieved?
