That stinks  :-\

Something that annoys me is when I made this account, I never used punctuation so my username isn't capitalized

Seriously, doesn't America use every name in the UK and just put 'new' infront of it?

New York
New jersey
New London

etc etc etc
Not all of our states and towns have "new" then a British town name. We stole Mexico's name and made New Mexico!  ;D

Ha I guess, when we Americans came over here I guess we didnt want to name anything, proves how lazy most of us are   :doh:And that too  :P

Ha! Well I live in New Hampshire which is in New England!
How uncreative of the settlers to name their new home New England after they left England!!

I did so research about New London harbor and as it turns out it used to welcome a lot of cruise ships, but when the recession hit that number drop to 0.
2008: 15
2009: 0  :'(
2010: 2  :)

Did you know that the average cruise ship passenger spends about $150 USD in each port? Times that by 3,000 and you have got a lot of money. That is why New London welcomes cruise ships.

they dont say hampshire with 'shire' like in lord of the rings, in england, mate. Not the Brits I have spoken too at least. The say it the same way, except with a more original accent.  ;D

They did look like hobbits a bit.. but that's another story.  ::)

Portsmouth (UK) is most likely where they set sail from...
