So you're a hover-fan but have no models?  Shocking.

I have some shop-bought ones...  ;D

They're quite ship though...

I was thinking about pulling one apart and making it into an AP1-88, since that's pretty easy to build and you can hide the motors easy, but I never got around to it...

Mine is still far from the original ship...  But hey, I wasn't a skilled modeler at that time & I don't make them anymore - blame the forum addiction.

Well, as part of my A level engineering diploma, we have to go and do an 'extended project' - go build something.

since there are only 4 people in the diploma class, we're talking about doing something big as a group. They kinda like the idea of a hovercraft...

:D sounds like your having alot of luck atm.

Which reminds me do you remember my model boat competition .
Well we had to withdraw from the competition because like i said the man which was going to help us, his daughter was very ill and in hospital so we had no boat.

It's not all doom and gloom though, we have entered a new one as celebration of the round the island race. also we are hoping to help the next years contestants from our school with the boat because we believe if we made it, we may have won.

Sorry to hear!

Well our engineering tutor thinks that by hovercraft, we mean this:

We actually mean this:

Many schools build hovercraft, one of the other schools I go to for engineering is building a garage to build a 2 seater in.

I don't know if we would build a 2 seater or a 4 seater... It depends whether 2 want to be left on the bank and swap over...

Hell, build a 20 seater, with a V8 on the prop and a Subaru engine on the fan...

EDIT: Given a year, and about £7000, this?
