well, I went to the Silent Rave and I can safely say...

NEVER AGAIN.

Out of 2,200 people, only 20 turned up. It's amazing what rain (and a rival - The BBC with a Doctor Who 3D teaser on a big screen) can do to such an event. Silent Rave Video

Says it all.

anyone here knows how to make boat letters? The vinyls we used last time didn't work very well so it will now be painted on. I've tried with word, found the correct font but I'm not sure how to make the size. the letters need to be about 7,5cm high, anyone have idea?

I think it's often used something stickerlike that is like tape, but shaped in letters, not sure though. But there is special stores that are all about that here in Sweden anyway. Maybe there is where you live too, then call them and ask :)

btw, 7,5 cm is like 300 in word I think, try yourself and print different sizes and measure which is the right one, should work ;)

We used a shop like that before, but didn't work out to well. And yeah 300 or a little bit less actually seemed a good size, only problem is now that my computer can't find the printer, I have no idea why, but there are other computers, so that's not such an big issue.

hmmm, that's not a lot. In our harbor there are always at least 5, then again the shipyard is in the harbor, so that adds to it.

hmmm, there are almost always about 3 russian trawlers on the raid which I can see, that makes the average a day, say 3. Then add the boats and ships I see down at the marina/harbor/shipyard, that would be about well, at least 200. now let's split those 200 boats up in 7 days, which makes it about 28+ the 3 trawlers a day. So the average would be 31 vessels a day, which again would be in average 11315 vessels a year, though many are the same vessels.
I wonder what numbers those who who work at sea will have, I don't dare to think about it.
