They didn't show the 4-man bobsleigh on freeview

Apparently 8 sleds went out at 50/50...

I know about red button, but they showed the ice hockey instead of the 4-man Bob on the red button last night.

I've heard about that button. Can't find it on my remote.

What COLOUR is it?

I think the colour of the red button depends on the model of you remote, can you please give more details?

Good morning everyone, at last a sunny day!

TFM, what ship is currently serving Boulogne-Douvres?

I am bored with Seachance and I will swim before I travel with pee and ohno.

What happened to the arrow- is that now at Pompey? And this ugly thing you keep calling the racehorse (tired old nag) is presumably going to serve Douvres-Boulogne?

Not been on the Aquitane in some years ever since it rescued me from being stranded in Calais all night after those useless incompetents on the Burgundy forgot to tell calais there were return foot passengers.

In fact, the crew of the Burgundy are so bad that I expect most of them have been promoted to the board of directors for pee and ohno.

lol

The Arrow is at Boulogne waiting to come to Dover to have a ramp added to be able to sail from Portsmouth

The Brave Merchant is going to replace the Spirit, but when it is coming who knows - the Spirit is due to finish about 18th March

They might get stuck for a ship for a little while then.

Perhaps they should ask the useless lot with the blue hulls and rusty/white superstructure...

I suspect they will probably have a few lying about that they don't need (they could always say to DWP "Sorry your sheikness, but Douvres-Calais in the same area, is not viable, so we are stopping running it- however we have sold the ships nice and cheap to another operator who is making much more profit than us... I wonder why... You don't think it could be because our bored (sic) of directors is incompetent and theirs isn't do you?"

Well, I have mixed feelings about it to be honest. I feel that he should have the right to bear arms, but bear arms can be quite dangerous at times. Bears should be treated with caution at all times. They are a very dangerous species.

Jokes aside, I think he should have the right to bear arms, but I also feel maybe he shouldn't have had it with him unless he actually was doing an ocean crossing. Most pirates won't stay in the harbour.. ::)

It serves his right, quite frankly.

NO ONE in Blairbrowns brave new world has the right to defend himself against aggression. You can always ask the Police to seek an asbo against the pirates (they have their own human rights to consider)...

That said, he should have ensured the gun was secured beyond use until he was free of this despotic dictatorship that has evolved from a previously benign state of fascism.

The judge admits no intent of malice, yet TWELVE MONTHS! He should have shot someone then he'd be out in half that time... I take it he isn't a labour voter or something? A generally decent person of sound character? They are the type this appaling government absolutely hates... Anyone who poses a threat to them- ie anyone who hasn't had an appaling education and can THINK for themselves.

Not that I'm inciting revolution of course (I'd get a knock at the door at 4am and carted away- Habeous corpus (sp) long since abolished...) but WHY have we not rid ourselves of them?

In case anyone thinks this an excessive rant- please come and spend time here and THEN tell me I'm mad. I've been the victim of the gestapo (forgive the use of the name, but I feel it justified) for daring to defend myself against an armed aggressor. "You used un-reasonable force, Sir."...."Officer, he had a ***** knife. What was I supposed to do? Warn him he might breach his bail conditions?"... WHO got taken away for interview?

this ugly thing you keep calling the racehorse (tired old nag)

What fresh blasphemy is this?

As far as I know the plan is for the Brave to take over directly from the Spirit.

A few people who have gotten used to the facilities on the Spirit are in for a shock!

What do people think of this?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/devon/8543537.stm

The guy is an idiot for a number of reasons:
  • The last recorded act of piracy in Brixham was a few hundred years ago
  • Keeping a weapon in an unsecured place increases the chances of someone who does have criminal intent getting hold of it
  • Anyone who thinks that he can defend himself against armed pirates with a sawn off shotgun is a fool, without the gun he would most likely get robbed and sent on his way, as soon as he started shooting he would be signing his own death warrant

Oh, and good morning everyone
