Perhaps it would be better if people act themselves and just go out, make the effort rather than spend money on those sort of websites which are a tool to part decent people from their money.

Anyone know anyone who has ever met anyone from one of those websites? I bet-no.

I've never used one of those sites. Just wanted to make that clear. But then my record isn't too brilliant either so I can't say that I've benefited from that choice or not

Then you need to think WHY you are shy. Usual is lack of confidence. So ask yourself WHY lack of confidence. Because other people are better than you- that is probably what you think.

So ask yourself 2 questions... WHY are they better? Think of some of your own good qualities that are important and then say "nuts. I am just as good as anyone else."
Or, the second option...(a better one)... think "I just don't give a heck WHAT other people think. I am just as good as they are. I am better. If they don't like it they can get los."

Once you take the view that it is YOUR opinion that matters most. That YOu are in control of YOUR own destiny... then you will find your shyness will disappear.

Or, as Minime says... alcohol.
