Yup me too, that's why I still have SS2006 on my PC as I really like that yacht.

Nice avatar - the Normandie is one of my most favourite transatlantic liner. A lot went into her design and she had terrific Art Deco interior.

For anyone using a Logitech Driving Force Pro, Here's an interesting tip.

Quote

Select + R3 + Wheel mounted Right Paddle shifter (R1) = 900 degrees
Select + R3 + Wheel mounted Left Paddle shifter (L1) = 100% force feed back
(Note: For those who dont know where are the wheel mounted paddle shifter's, their the 2 buttons behind the wheel.)

This works when it's plugged into PC too. Just been doing some SSing with it in 900 degrees mode (with the power lead unplugged)

I'm happy to report that it is incredibly similar to the real thing, with all those extra turns and no self-centering.

And since you can pick one up for about Â£50, It's WAY cheaper than the Ship Control Unit. I don't see how they're going to make a profit at all with those things!

Not sure if it's just SS or on the PC as a whole, but there's no force feedback, will try some other games now...

Update: i don't think force feedback works at all on PC, but it could be just TOCA RD3, i got a little hooked...

For an overgrown speedboat- that looks one hell of a nice boat indeed... FAR more interesting than other fast boats I've seen...

Dublin - Holyhead? hmmm about right for the crossing.

BTW on the subject of Dublin-Holyhead, WHY has the Ulysees got cabins... for a THREE hour trip

3 hours isn't enought to count towards their legal rest break... I'd have thought it not worth it, 3 hour journey, less the restaurant visit etc etc...

Hmm.... I suppose they use it, but I'd be surprised if they have a high occupancy
