Well maybe they have a new building method that's faster than previous ones.

Tonight i'm thinking off crossing The English Channel with Pride of Rotterdam (With Bryan Ferry ofcourse  :2thumbs: :2thumbs:)

But just a simple question before i'm off, what's the recommended direction to follow, to make a straight forward line towards the port of Calais?

What do you mean?
Pride of Rotterdam departs from Hoek Van Holland to Harwichm

if you want to go Calais you'll go on a much shorter 90 min route

It's afterall a shipsim forum, so i'd prefer the coordinates for Dover - Calais for the very beautiful Ship Simulator  ;)

Hi Captain Best,
Try 1200T. That should be pretty close for you. That is on leaving Dover via the Eastern entrance to the harbour.

Is anyone else missing the retail key for the Inland Shipping DLC? I bought it on Steam by the way.

The big 'St. Jude' storm that is currentely tearing through the UK, it is currentely bearing down on Cambridgeshire I believe. A LOT of train services have been cancelled, and winds of 105mph have been reported in the straights of Dover and 99mph winds on the Isle of Wight.

So how has everyone's Hallow's Eve been? All the DTA drivers were in costume and handed out candy to everyone who boarded the buses, but other than that it's been pretty uneventful. Also it's raining pretty hard outside. :P

I spent the evening working at my local preserved railway's, the Dean Forest, hallowe'en night, and it was raining the whole time when I was on platform duties and as soon as I got an inside job it stopped...  ::)
