It is lovely and warm here (Aqaba) today, although it gets a bit chilly in the evenings, the captain and I are off or dinner ashore with the owners this evening, I'm not entirely sure what to expect, hoping they will find a nice western restaurant that serves steak and chips rather than some place offering the local delicacy of fricaseed goats testicles or something similar.

Hi Clanky
I am sure it will be 5* with all the trimmings while they pick your brains
still there is always egg and chips in the galley when you come back  ;D

Eric, I dream of egg and chips while I'm at sea, with it being a passenger ship it's one of the things that we never see.

It was certainly 5* with all the trimmings, a mix of Jordasnian and western food, and not a goat's testicle in sight, food was absolutely fantastic. We were sat at the next table to the Jordanjian Kings brother, so I'm guessing that it was one of the better restaurants in Aqaba.

The owners were very sociable and didn't try to pick our brains at all, but unfortunately there were no belly dancers!

Just been kicked from SSE multiplayer for tying to explain that someone's CPU is a quad core 3Ghz and not a 12Ghz CPU
