Very nice :)

Though I do recommend putting Windows 64bit on instead, as you will get your full memory usage, since at the moment with 32bit it is limiting it now to 3.3GB of ram

If we wern't allowed to joke about then i think about 99% of the active forum would be banned!

I spent £550 on the PC, or $880 for the yanks here. I've tested it and i can get about 25 FPS on super high graphics on SSE according to fraps, it runs super smooth.

With 64bit it doesn't really seem to have a limit, you're just limited to the amount of slots for the RAM, my motherboard has 4 slots so i can get 4X4GB which is 16GB max.

If you download Fraps and then open it while you play in the corner of the screen it will say how many FPS you get

Why on earth do you need 16GB of ram...?

So what is the limit for 64bit?

The limit for the ammount of memory which can be used by a 32 bit system is 2 ^ 32 which is 4294967296 or just over 4Gb

The limit for a 64 bit system is 2 ^ 64 which in practical terms is unlimited (in reality its something like 16 trillion Gb)

You never really need anymore than 8GB, its same with processor cores, people can say 'Oh yeah I have a 6 core processor', but there are very few programs that will actually use them all, so the last 2 at least is often just wasted, along with the money in your pocket. Mind you, I have 4 cores, and Maya uses them all at 100% when rendering.. :-\
