No offence, but I wouldn't trust any info about SS2008 that comes from BSL, or any other of those star line forums. QM2 in SS2008 never looked likely..

DIAMANT has put it quite well. Other forums than the two official ones—this one and CF—may try to entice members by purporting to be a source of information about Ship Simulator that is not available here. Possibly they have little else to offer.

There is some information that VSTEP divulges to beta testers with the understanding that it is covered by nondisclosure agreements. If that information should somehow appear on another forum, there would be consequences: Any mention of that site on this forum would be prohibited, and the people responsible for the leak might be banned from this forum.

More likely is the possibility that rumors and uninformed speculation will go unchallenged on those sites because those who actually have the facts simply have no reason to go there.

I have always thought that the "Star Lines" forums or other such online organizations, if you can call them that, are all just a load of beef.  I see nothing productive that comes out of them or any sort of: :thumbs: at all.

I have to say that I have never been to Long Wave Star Line nor X-ray Star Line, nor any colours in between.  :evil:

Didn't take me long to find the source.. It doesn't even say SS08.

Perhaps dudwasup misread, as Matt did say "I think" not "I know for a fact that this and that will be in the next SS or SS08".

But Matt's post's can easily be misread, in thinking he writes his posts to make it seem that it's factual and not a personal opinion and what he'd like in the game.
But that topic does seem to feature alot of speculation, and Matt's post didn't help.. Pure inaccurate guesses..

Let me spill the beans:

Not one of those vessels will appear in Ship Simulator 2008. (That being the original questioner's concern).
