Post by: AriesDW on May 09, 2007, 17:54:04
DUN DUN DUN DUN!!! ( News Theme )

Hello ladies and gentlemen, this is Dave Anderson with some new ship news . . . ;D

Ulstein and Bourbon Offshore reported recently that one of their new vessels, the Bourbon Dolphine sank north of Scottland with all hands . . .

(Yes this is not terribly recent, but I thought some people would like to hear the news)

In contrast, Ulstein is proud to annouce that one of their newest projects, the recently completed Bourdon Orca, prooves the effectiveness of the trademarked X-bow in Northern Europe and Northern Atlantic waters. According to a study conduct by themselves in both simulation and field tests, the new X-bow allows for a believed higher operating speed of 5 knots when in rough seas.

:: COUGH ::

Dockside has announced they are quote highly motivated in increasing the length of their famous Blue Marlin to approx. 1100 feet to insure the vessel would rescue US Nimitz Class Aircraft Carriers or Medium Container or Tanker vessels should the "War on Terror" decide to strike one of these vessels. Dockside says that it is their responsibility to prepare for such incidents so that if such incidents do occur, they can be there to serve.

Holland American Cruiselines is happy to declare they are one of the "number one" cruise lines to go see Alaska and Western Canada. According to a survey, last year 700,000 people visited Alaska via Cruise Liner and Holland American was one of the top choices amongst cruisers for this route . . . .

That is all for the news! Thanks for reading! I am Dave Anderson, good night.

DUN DUN DUN DUN!!! ( News Theme )

I am a dork, but I had to find a funny way to make this topic interesting . . .
