the good news is that she will be kept original just with a couple more new toys and just a couple more compartments like a planetarium and some other rooms since they want to make it into a floating museum...or thats what ive read. eitherway i think its and awesome concept of the ship i give it a  :2thumbs: and iceberg-proof  ;D

well you can see it like this...its a good way to see what happened to her ancestor and to feel the impact of how those people felt back then.

Today they need a helipad for emergancy reasons! Someone said to me that the helipad saves a lot of lives a year as they can fly people with heart attacks, breathing problems, fits exetra  to a specalist quickly with all the gear and that stuff
Mind you the titanic II won't be my cup of tea! Athough I am quite young (15)
Hopefully it wont sink!

Passenger ships (in fact ships in general) do not usually have heli-pads, in the case of a medical emergency it is almost always quicker / safer to divert the ship to the nearest port than to arrange a helicopter, however on the rare occasion when a helicopter is required for an evacuation they generally hover above the ship and winch a crewman down who then gets winched back up with the casualty / patient.

right you are...oh and mind you...the 2 men at the crow's nest on the titanic that were holding hands and grabbing each other's butts in the movie that was the cause that the ship was too late to be turned...that actually happened in real life.  being that he survived and they interviewed him he even said quote: 'i regret everything even me still being alive up to this day since i know i got 1500 people killed that day since i wasnt taking my job seriously.'  so i believe that its not the ship rather the crew that's looking out for her.

[rant]
I'm afraid thats completely false. The two men in the crow's nest were not at fault. They saw the burg, with no Bino's and on a night which had a "false horizon". When they saw the burg they reported it, as per regulation. IF anyone is to blame its the chief executive of harland and wolf, for not allowing enough lifeboats (the person origonally tasked with the ship had more than enough lifeboats added on the origonal plan). Brucy was also at fault for insisting the ship proceed at high speed through ice, and the captain is also at fault for allowing the ship to travel at speed.
I'm also not sure where you came up with the idea of the two lookouts having a bit of "fun" but I can assure you it has no ground atall. period.
