Post by: ANDYDNA on June 30, 2008, 15:19:35

I'm new user and I need to know if Ship Simulator provides in outputs data about ship attitude with georeferenced position time-by-time.
Thanks a lot

Hi ANDYDNA,

As far as i am aware hehe, bear in mind i am not a sailor and stuff so i didn't really understand any of that but to help you. The instruments of intrest is the Information Panel ingame which contains stuff like GPS, ship status e.g. damage. Static data, e.g. weather and time and alot of other stuff you may find useful. Also there is the Chart showing your heading (N,E,S,W) and you may find some other stuff of interest hehe.

Kind Regards

Hi ANDYDNA,
No, Ship Simulator 2008 does not output track data. VSTEP makes a Professional system that does drive external instruments.

Hi!
for attitude data I intend roll, pitch and yaw angles of the ship per second. Maybe this is not the simulator for my tasks.
Thanks a lot to all.
Enjoy,
AndydnA.
