@ Rbsanford, just for future reference, a ZIP file is a compressed file where some of the common information is removed to leave only the bits that you really need, what you did by extracting it is to change it back to the original file and size, otherwise known as unZIPing.

annoying game crash while trying to play g-trax steam locomotives. any help?

FYI: Some steam engines will hang & crash RW3 when selected in a scenario if the tender is not properly attached.
The first two pictures show good & bad attachment for the Northern. Note that the brake hoses are not connected in the bad case.
The next two pictures show correct alignment for the Berkshire and the Consolidation. They will also hang RW3 if not connected.
Note that the brake pipes on Consolidation are not connected; perhaps the tender is borrowed—as are the sounds and cab view.
Challenger and Big Boy will not hang RW3 if the tender is not connected. You can back up and couple to them in the scenario. Pictures show the correct alignment, and also the alignment for the articulated driver on Big Boy. Challenger also has articulated drivers that must be correctly attached.

you appear to hav been mistaken. wat i ment was that wen i try to play one, the engine (not the tender too) appears invisible. a few seconds afterward, i get a window saying "something bad happened too your program. would you like to save a diagnostic file?"

but i just debugged the computer, so ille try again and post wat happens. ;)

Well that's your choice :D

I like the British railroads, especially the old rail networks, there are some fasinating lines up and down the country.

US railroads are an amazing feet on their own, due to it's size and locomotives :)
