Hi All,

Does anyone think a virtual shipping company would work on ship sim and what would be the best way to set it (similar to flight sims virtual airlines).  Im thinking of ferry routes and cargo routes.  Each person has to have there own vessel and stick to it and log routes, times etc.  Since so many people wont be able to do it daily (which is not expected) we should have a minimum of say 2-3 active routes a month.  The routes could be set by the team before its launched.  Is anyone here good at creating websites to manage this etc?  We could try and get it approved by Vstep?

I have no clue how to make a web site, but we could make a page on facebook, or google might be able to help us by making a website. But I think it is a GREAT idea!

Ports of Call is more specialized in running a virtual shipping compagny, while SSE is more specialized in sailing and ship handling. I doubt if Vstep would integrate both items into a next version of ShipSim.

I have ports of call though you cant sail ships.  Its like saying why have virtual airlines for Flight Sim when you have Airline (management sim)?  Im not on about VSTEP creating it im on about we create this on our own?
