They do that all the time - it is called bow riding

Yup. In florida i saw some when I was on a boat, and they were bow riding pretty close. It's pretty cool to see.. The little kids go crazy over them

I remember a few years ago Atlantic Cartier went 'fishing' for whales, and carried a blue whale across the Atlantic and into Liverpool, on her bulbous bow - it had got wedged between the bow and the bulbous bit

Yes, I've seen more of such 'incidents'.. Sad...

Ah well... I reckon sometimes whales get tired of dying on the beach, and just go head to head with a large vessel for a quicker solution.

Btw, is Sea Shepard planning on attacking beaches any time soon? Those are just claiming so many whales!!
