I know the feeling, my 2.5 (the .5 is always important till you're around 15 ;)) year old nephew and my 4 year old nephew are hilarious and so cute with all their comments and things they do.

I saw a movie once about a small kid wich was teached how to say "Fire Truck"
The kid offcourse can't say the word so it coms out as "Fire: F*ck :D
Never Laughed so hard. And the kid all happy that it can say Fire Truck ;D

Sorry. I was brought up to see through the lies of 'father christmas'. I never did believe as a young kid... so Imagine my surprise in later life when I realised there IS a father christmas after all ;)

Actually that is what I was expecting from this thread when I first clicked on it, but there was always that glimmer of hope. :D I thought it would be something like a boat which had been stripped of its paint, or was yet to be painted.

Have to agree,constant vigilance and net nannying our young ones is a must..but i,ve found that trust can also help..my teenager has grown up with a compouter and knows there are unsavourable sites and people out there.. i trust her ..she trusts me..tho rolls her eyes and can,t believe her old dad still wants computer time to "play boats" ::)

Our government in Australia spent millions touting and developing a surefire unsavoury site filter..after a huge launch a schoolkid disabled the filters in a couple of minutes..tho some sites are totally offensive..I think its apersonal choice...governments taking control of your computer is very scary..Burma..China..etc..self censorship is the key.. ;)
